From the first 5.25-inch hard drive for the PC to the development of perpendicular recording technology, we’ve been pioneering new industry standards that have fueled advancements in the digital information age.

For example, our new FreeAgent family of data movers can put any and all of your digital content at your fingertips—no matter where you are. With FreeAgent, you can move your content to where you need it; like email contacts to your iPod, or your desktop environment and latest files to an Internet café. In addition, our new DAVE technology allows you to conveniently store gigabytes of music, video, games and business data downloaded to your mobile phone. Amazingly, DAVE is a small sleek platform that slips easily into a pocket, purse or backpack, and it stays connected to a handset up to 30 feet away over Bluetooth 2.0 or Wi-Fi.
