QPS Profile
Quest Pharmaceutical Services (QPS) with locations in the US and Taiwan, was founded by Dr. Benjamin Chien in 1995. For almost a decade, QPS has been assisting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies with their drug development efforts by providing a full range of GLP-compliant, DMPK services. QPS-USA facilities are located in Newark, DE (one 20,500-square-Feet facility dedicated for GLP bioanalytical and biomarker/immunoassay services and another 12,500-square-Feet AAALAC-accredited, in-life facility for ADME studies). In addition, QPS-Taiwan, located in Taipei, with 8,000 square feet also provides a full-range of DMPK services.

QPS LC/MS/MS method development and bioanalysis services (small organics, polypeptides, and antisense oligonucleotides) are supported by a constantly expanding list of instruments, including 35 mass spectrometers with presently 25 triple quadrupoles.

QPS IND-enabling ADME packages include PK, protein binding, tissue distribution (QWBA and Microautoradiography), metabolism, CYP450 characterization, and mass balance. QPS offers a full range of drug metabolism capabilities including metabolic stability, metabolite profiling and identification, reaction phenotyping, inhibition, and in vitro and ex vivo induction.

Finally, QPS Biomarker/Immunoassay teams provide a variety of assays (ELISA, RIA, cell-based) that are rigorously qualified (CLIA certified and/or GLP compliant) for use in quantitative analysis of large molecule drugs (protein and polypeptide drugs, immunogenicity, and markers of biological reactivity).

Scientists at QPS apply their many years of industrial experience and expertise by providing sponsors with high quality test results and consultative services leading to submission of regulatory dossiers (IND/ NDA/ANDA).
