Halliburton is one of the world's leading providers of products and services to the upstream energy industry, serving throughout the life cycle of the reservoir − from locating hydrocarbons and managing geological data to drilling and formation evaluation, well construction and completion, and optimizing production through the life of the field. Halliburton's Energy Services Group consists of three operating divisions: Drilling, Evaluation and Digital Solutions provides directional drilling services and drill bits; data gathering services such as logging and logging-while-drilling that help operators make initial evaluations of the formation; and remote operations centers that coordinate data gathering, reservoir modeling, and field execution for all aspects of the well construction and evaluation process in real time. In addition, the division offers software and data management services, consulting services and project management services. Fluid Systems offers drilling fluids, which remove cuttings from the wellbore, lubricate the drill bit and provide well control and drilling efficiency; and cementing, which provides structural support for the wellbore casing and isolates the different producing zones. Production Optimization provides completion services, including downhole and surface equipment, expandable and swell technologies, and reservoir testing and analysis solutions. Production Enhancement services include fracturing, acidizing, sand control and water control. The division also offers well intervention services such as coiled tubing and hydraulic workovers.
